Twenty years ago, I was stranded 1,000 miles from home with $7 to my name.
Debt collectors were calling. I was “fasting” meals because the money ran out before payday, digging through couch cushions for gas money just to get to work. When I told my pastor I dreamed of giving away a million dollars, he laughed.
